ISELIN, N.J., March 14, 2016 – Major issues are changing the way New Jersey’s commercial real estate professionals must work to meet the market’s demands. On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, NAIOP New Jersey, the commercial real estate development association will focus on the issues with a seminar titled “The eCommerce Traffic eVolution/Roundtables with Development Industry Experts.” The event is slated for the Renaissance Woodbridge in Iselin.

On the subject of eCommerce, New Jersey, with its prime location, is ideal—but getting major projects permitted requires overcoming the obstacle of vehicle traffic. Several major projects are currently stalled because eCommerce facilities have special transportation requirements that are new to the Garden State.

Dan Disario, principal and vice president of Langan Engineering, is one of the state’s top traffic engineers and in that capacity will outline the challenges in the new paradigm and discuss approaches that can help all parties advance the much-needed projects that will allow eCommerce to grow and prosper in the state.

The second part of the program will feature roundtables lead by top development industry experts –  who will share their proven strategies and guidance for bringing new product to market expeditiously – allowing attendees to customize their learning experience in small-group settings. Robert Epstein of Greenberg Traurig will lead a discussion on “The Art of Managing Construction Risks.” “Structured Parking” will be on the agenda for a discussion lead by Robert Goldsmith of Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP. And “Repurposing Real Estate to Meet Fast-Changing Demands” will be the topic of discussion for Clare Broderick of Partner Engineering & Science.

This important event will begin with registration and networking at 7:45 a.m., followed by the program at 8:30. To register, or for more information, contact NAIOP New Jersey at (732) 729-9900, or visit www.naiopnj.org.
